Andy Uba’s Alleged Certificate Forgery Case Dropped

The Law suit filed against Senator Andy Uba by one Mr. Uchenna Nnadi has been dismissed by the The Abuja High Court sitting in Apo, Gudu District, on Friday.

According to Justice Valentine Ashi, the case was dropped because the plaintiff failed to prove with further evidence to the court that Mr. Andy Uba was guilty.

He also said that the plaintiff failed to conduct the proper background check on the accused before prosecuting. Such as checking with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for facts on the candidates eligibility for election and also confirming the right school Andy Uba got his certificate from, which is Union Secondary School, Awkunawu, Enugu State, as opposed to Boys’ High School, Awkunawu, which the plaintiff claimed.

The case was dismissed by the judge for lack of investigative research on the accused hence making the accused not guilty.
Earlier on Mr Nnadi had a filed a law suit against him for having a forged School Certificate from Boys’ High School, Awkunawu, making him unqualified for the election stand.

However, Mr Andi Uba, in the testimony presented to the court, maintained that he finished from Union Secondary School, Awkunawu, which had since been received and cleared by INEC.
