Dangote Urges Africa To Review Confining Visa Procedure

Aliko Dangote, Leader of the Dangote Group, has advised all African governments to reevaluate their respective visa policy and tariff plans as the current procedures are restricting potential investments from important sectors that could facilitate economic growth.

According to Dangote, such review will get rid of needless hurdles into the intra-African trade market and ensure economic growth while attracting foreign investments to the different countries.

While addressing a number of international business Executives and Nigerian business owners from the Lagos Business School (LBS) at the site of his multi-billion dollar refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, he said African leaders must look into dissolving the barriers between countries to aid the ease of transporting goods, services and people.

He went on to describe his refinery as being the biggest one-train petrochemical plant in the world, stating that the factory is said to refine 650,000 barrels per day.
